Hello! Meet Tracey

Master Coach

FROM KINDERGARTEN TEACHER TO HELPING THOUSANDS!

In 1998, I was just a "kindergarten teacher." However, I was also a grieving daughter. Grieving from the loss of my 51 year old mother to a dreadful disease--BREAST CANCER.  Through my phases of healing from this loss, I vowed to keep my mother's memory alive in my classroom & others throughout our state.

You see, my mother was also a dynamic teacher who wanted nothing more than to be Nationally Board Certified! Cancer took her from this earth before that dream was realized.

So... each teacher I coach through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) program is to me crossing the finish line once again for my mother.

Growing up as a minister's and teacher's daughter,

I watched my parents shoulder the weight of everyone's expectations. Society seemed to believe they should have all the answers simply because of their professions. But here's the truth: no one, regardless of their calling, has all the answers. Like my parents, those of us in education face unique challenges, and it's okay to acknowledge that we're human, still learning, and don't have every solution. Most days, I find myself wishing for a therapist on speed dial—someone who could help me return to center and navigate the hundreds of decisions and challenges that each day brings. This deep-seated need for support and guidance actually inspired the creation of my Member's Club. I realized that to truly serve my students, I needed to prioritize my own growth and well-being first. The club emerged from this understanding: a space where we can focus on self-development and build the emotional resources we need to be there for our students.

My thirty-plus years in teaching have been an incredible journey, though not always the highlight reel you might imagine. Through countless ups and downs—and I'm sure many of you can relate—I've discovered that those challenging moments weren't setbacks but stepping stones to transformation. I've shed the belief that life simply happens to me, replacing that mindset with one of agency and possibility. Where I once might have dwelled in negative thoughts, I now see opportunities for growth and positive change.

Today, my mission is clear: to inspire your growth and equip you with the tools you need to thrive, both as an educator and as a human being. Because the best teaching doesn't come from having all the answers—it comes from continuously growing, learning, and embracing the journey of becoming our best selves.
