What are the benefits of being an NBCT in NH?

New Hampshire NBCT Financial Incentives                 

Some local districts in New Hampshire may offer financial stipends to teachers who complete and hold valid NBPTS Certificates. New Hampshire acknowledges National Board Certification costs or incentives as allowable expenses that can be paid out of Title II, Part A, funds. Be sure to check with your local district for specific information regarding financial assistance and stipends.

State Recognition    

New Hampshire is one of the states that recognizes National Board Certification. In fact, National Board Certification can count toward earning a Master Teacher certificate within the state. 

Educational Credits               

Some universities within the state of New Hampshire may offer graduate credit to teachers pursuing NBPTS Certification. New Hampshire teachers are encouraged to check with their local universities to see if credit is an option.

NBPTS Support Options

NBPTS support offerings may or may not be limited in your area of New Hampshire. Teachers should recognize the importance to collaborate and plan with other NBCTs or candidates.
