New Mexico is one of the states that rewards National Board Certified Teachers. The NBCTs in New Mexico receive a salary differential of 1.5 student units for each year they are Board certified.
State Recognition
New Mexico is also one of the states that recognize National Board Certification for licensure. National Board Certification is one of the pathways to reach Level Three licensure within the state. Collaboration, communication, and accountability are important parts of being successful with the NBPTS Process.
